Establishment of Pilot Plant with Soitec’s CPV Systems for Mining Operation in Chile

Yingli Singapore to Supply Multicrystalline PV Modules to Amcorp Power

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), a leading solar energy company and one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic ("PV") manufacturers, which markets its products under the brand "Yingli Solar", announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yingli Green Energy Singapore Company Pte. Limited ("Yingli Singapore") will supply 10.269 MW of multicrystalline PV modules to Amcorp Power Sdn. Bhd. ("Amcorp Power"), which is a subsidiary of Amcorp Group Berhad, an investment holding company based in Malaysia.

2013 Sees Substantial Jump in Carbon Dioxide Emissions from Coal

After a major fall-off in carbon dioxide (CO2) pollution from coal-fired electric power plants of 13.1 percent between 2005 and 2012, the first quarter of 2013 has seen a substantial jump in carbon dioxide emissions from coal – a 7.1 percent increase in the first three months of 2013 compared to the same period last year, according to a new Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) analysis of recent data from the U.S Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
