KPW2–C23 HTF Flat Plate Solar Collector from Regulus

Regulus offers the flat solar collector model KPW2–C23 HTF. This model incorporates an antireflection solar glass with double sided antireflection layers to curtail the reflection of solar rays and increases solar permeability up to 96%.

The solar collector utilized in the module is kept inside a solar prismatic glass. The collector can be installed in vertical or horizontal positions either over the roof or inside the roof. During the installation a number of collectors can be placed very close to each other without space between them.

KPW2 – C23 HTF Flat Plate Solar Collector

The double parallel copper absorber used in the flat plate collector has a special ETA plus coating. The special coating comprises a mix of ceramics and metal combination. During the coating process special care is taken to reduce the concentration of metallic particles over the top surface to benefit the top surface with high solar absorbance and reduced heat emission loss. Also the special coating prevents corrosion of materials used. The width x length x height dimensions of KPW2–C23 HTF solar collector offered by the Regulus is 1160 mm x 1930 mm x 90 mm and weighs 39 kg. The total collector surface of this module is 2.24 m².

The insulation utilized in the KPW2–C23 HTF solar collector module measures 4 cm in thickness.  For efficient transferring of heat 1.1 L of fluid is introduced within the solar collectors. This solar collector can withstand a maximum pressure of 10 bar.
