America’s Heat offers the AH 170 hot air shelled corn furnace. This fully automatic corn furnace comes with a thermostat and a 14 bushel corn bin to feed automatically. This bottom feeding furnace does not require manual feeding or cleaning. This corn furnace offers up to 170,000 BTU and covers an area up to 2500 sq.ft.
The large sized corn bin incorporated in the furnace can hold up to a week or 10 days corn fuel supply with an average use of 1-1/2 to 2 bushels of corn every day. The AH 170 model hot air shelled corn furnace offered by America’s Heat incorporates more number of heat fans, large sized blowers and faster auger motors to increase the heat dispersal ratio.
The air circulation blower of this unit is mounted over the unit instead of mounting inside the unit thus enhancing the circulation of air flow. The furnace utilized in the AH 170 model has an external height x width x depth dimension of 68-3/4 in. x 27 in. x 46 in. and its bin has 48 in. x 36 in. x 52 in. dimensions. The furnace weighs 590 lbs and the bin weighs 50 lbs. The flue pipe utilized in the furnace measures 6 in. The heat exchanger utilized in this shelled corn furnace is made of 14 gauge steel and the fire pot is made of cast iron. The two air filters incorporated in this module measures 12 x 12 x 1.
This furnace incorporates a 70 CFM combustion blower and a four speed ½ hp hot air blower. This model is available in either right or left feed options.
