ReGreen Corporation Receives Funding for Solar System Installation

ReGreen Corporation has received a funding of $2 million from NARA Bank towards starting the construction of a solar PV installation with 255 kW capacity at Metro Park Towers on Wilshire located in Los Angeles, California. The company is a leading provider for energy services and is based in California.

The building is a commercial office complex with two towers wherein lighting retrofit projects have helped reduce the building’s energy consumption by 20%. Currently, steps are being taken to generate the building’s own energy through the installation of solar systems in order to increase the energy efficiency of the building even further.

The power generated by this solar system would be providing enough energy for meeting 15% of the annual energy needs of the building. Almost 50% of the total project expense is likely to be covered by means of the LADWP Solar Initiative Rebate Program & Federal 1603 Grant meant for Solar Energy Program.
