Power-Save Energy Company, a business offering energy-efficient and renewable energy products, has declared the signing of an agreement with CA Power-Save to provide an all inclusive solar system for installation over the television studio buildings of CBS Television City in Los Angeles Calif.
As per the terms of the contract Power-Save will provide solar system equipments such as solar panels manufactured by Ningbo Solar, solar racking from New Mexico-based Unirac and solar inverters from Oregon-based PV Powered to CA Power. The CA Power which has signed the $2,405,8350 contract with CBS Television will complete the designing and the fixing process of the 411 kW solar systems over the studio buildings. Power-Save considers the project as important and expects that it will improve its prospects of installing such large sized commercial projects in future. The project is financed through Los Angeles Dept of Water and Power rebate, the Federal Tax grant and received participative investment from CBS. The project when completed will allow CBS to save around $120,000 every year and will allow the company to recover the investment costs in less than a 5 year period.
Michael Forster, CEO of Power-Save Energy Company, outlined the intention of the company to market and sell its solar products to corporate companies in USA. He further said that the economic down trend did not deter most of the large sized companies from undertaking energy saving projects and install green energy systems that will work advantageously for the company as well as for preserving the environment.
