Day4 Energy to Supply solarMODULES for Solar Project in Italy

Day4 Energy, supplier of solar PV products and solutions, declared that it has contracted an accord with Orciano Ambiente, solar project developer from Italy, to supply its 60-MCI Day4 solarMODULES for the proposed 1 MW ground located solar photovoltaic system to be erected in Orciano Pisano, a town in Italy.

Euro Sistem, an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) firm, which is engaged to erect the systems, is expected to finish the installation by December 2010. The 1 MW project will be put into service and commence its operations by February 2011. The signing of accord has enabled Day4 solarMODULES to become acceptable to lending institutions and banks such as Unicredit Leasing a well known leasing and project finance company in the Italian market.

Luigi Fusi, Day4's Director of Sales and Corporate Development for Southern Europe, said that achieving of bankability status from Unicredit Leasing has consolidated the position of the company as a respected solar products supplier and it also stresses the quality and performance of its solarMODULES for use in bigger sized solar projects.
