SunLink, a photovoltaic mounting solutions providing and solar system components provider, declared the completion of its non-penetrating solar module installation by Cupertino Electric (CEI).
Cupertino Electric has completed the 1 MW solar PV installations for World Cruise Center of Port of Los Angeles located in Los Angeles, California. CEI has utilized SunLink Roof Mount Systems (RMS) manufactured by SunLink.
The Port of Los Angeles’ solar project covered under Solar LA Program is one among the biggest solar power projects attempted by a city all over the world. The project when completed will reduce around 22,838 metric tons of CO2 discharges during the life time of the project, which can be equated to removing of around 4,367 cars off the road every year.
Meisa Kassis, Cupertino Electric’s Project Manager, said that the company has chosen SunLink for their known capability to offer non-penetrating installation solutions to conform to the requirements of the project. Kassis further said that the use of ballasted mounting solutions provided by SunLink enabled the company to match the need of the Port to safeguard the long term usage of its roof structure.
