Solarfun Modules Receive Certification for Polycrystalline and Monocrystalline Modules

Solarfun Power Holdings, a producer of solar PV cells and modules, has declared the receipt of certification for its SF190 and SF220 polycrystalline and SF160 monocrystalline modules from Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).

The receiving of MCS certification will allow the resellers and clients of the company in the UK region to utilize solar PV modules offered by the company for consistent power production.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme utilizes stringent type of set standards to endorse the usage of technologies that generate electric power and heat by utilizing renewable energy sources. The criterion utilized for certification includes performance assessment of the module, materials utilized for its production, its manufacturing process and procedures followed through the production process and the training imparted to the staff engaged in the production process.

The compact design and high production efficiency of SF160 monocrystalline modules has made them ideal for use in commercial and residential usages, while the polycrystalline SF190 and SF220 modules are suggested for use in high power output demanding utility type of applications.
