Day4 Energy Extends Supply Accord with Motech Industries

Day4 Energy, a supplier of solar photovoltaic (PV) products and solutions, declared the prolongation of the supply accord that it has contracted with Motech Industries, a solar cell producing company from Taiwan.

According to the extended supply accord, both the companies have agreed to increase the supply of multi-crystalline silicon solar cells provided to Day4 Energy and the production partners of its Day4 solarSYSTEMS. The supply of increased quantity will commence from early part of January 2011.

George Rubin, Day4 Energy’s President, said that Motech remains to be a trusted and most valued provider of solar PV cells utilized in the production of solar modules even after completing four years of signing the first contract. He added that the signed accord assures the required supply of solar cells to manage its European production as well as the production facilities of its partners manufacturing Day4 solarSYSTEMS.

Motech Industries’ VP of Business Operation, Sam Tsou, expressed his happiness to be the main supplier for Day4 Energy. He added that his company anticipates continued robust partnership with Day4 Energy and its production partners of Day4 solarSYSTEMS.
