Bullfrog Power Supplies Wind Power to Fairmont Palliser

Bullfrog Power, a green electricity supplier in Canada, has declared that the company will provide 307 MWh of green power annually to The Fairmont Palliser, a hotel located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The green power to be supplied is produced locally from Alberta wind power facility.

The Fairmont Palliser is purchasing the green power for its 22,000 sq. ft. of function and meeting spaces as part of its sustainability plan. Through this purchase, the hotel is backing the local wind power producers and decreasing its environmental effect.

Bullfrog Power is using its generators to transport the required green electricity onto the regional grid and no additional wiring or devices are needed. In the Alberta region, the local wind power plants are the sources of power for Bullfrog Power. Environment Canada’s EcoLogoM program has certified these wind power plants.
