Sunvalley Solar Signs Contract with Crop Production Services

Provider of solar power solutions, Sunvalley Solar has collaborated with Crop Production Services in California for a commercial solar installation contract. The new 45.6 kW solar power system includes PV Powered’s one 50 kW solar inverter and Tianwei Solarfilms’ 480 solar panels.

The solar project is funded by ~$63K of Federal Tax Cash Grants obtained from the Federal Treasury Department and solar incentive rebates of ~$100K from the local utility company. The overall cost of the contract is about $209,760.

The new solar system would produce 77,673 kWh of power per year. In addition, the system will offer additional power and gain credits with the Imperial Irrigation District Utility, from May to October, which are the peak months. The installation of solar power system for Crop Production Services is scheduled to commence in the beginning of 2011.
