WindTamer, a developer, producer and provider of solar and wind energy systems and made to order type of clean energy storage and power administration systems, declared that it has erected its first Power on Demand energy storage and power management system for Advanced Glass Industries.
The system is installed at a 35,000 square-foot facility owned by Advanced Glass Industries in Rochester, New York and has become functional.
Power on Demand is a patent-pending system solely owned by WindTamer. It is contrived to make use of incoming energy inputs from several sources in concert with a custom-made battery storage facility to lessen the demand for the grid connected power when the customer has high level of battery storage power thus regularizing the grid power usage and reducing the power bills for the client. The system will distribute energy from any renewable energy source such as solar, wind and fuel cell or from the grid connected supply as available at that point of time. The company arranges to customize the renewable energy inputs of each client at the location of power production for the effective use of energy.
The design of the system allows inclusion of the exclusive 'smart monitoring' expertise formulated and owned by WindTamer, which allows concurrent monitoring of the power usage at the site and decides the release of energy stored in the batteries. Such an arrangement maximizes the life of the battery cell and also improves the value of the total system to the client.
