Tiga Energy Services, Eco-Merge Form Joint Venture to Operate Blended Renewable Energy Plants

Tiga Energy Services and Eco-Merge have formed a joint venture to deploy, fund and operate numerous renewable energy power plants in the USA.

Privately funded, each plant will unify renewable sources such as simple cycle, combined cycle (steam-to-energy), combined heat and power plants (CHP) and solar, which are powered by waste-to-energy sources to generate energy in excess of 15MW. The plants will produce renewable electricity at competitive rates with conventional utilities.

The first-of-its-kind, the power plant will be set up in Bastrop County near Austin, Texas. Thermal energy services will be provided to the Eco-Merge Green Corporate Center while electricity will be provided to the utilities in central Texas.

Michael Hathaway, CEO of Tiga Energy Services stated that it will be possible to produce renewable and reliable energy at the price of fossil fuels within five or ten years.
