Advanced Energy Industries, a Fort Collins, Colorado, headquartered company, declared that it has received a high-volume repeat order from centrotherm photovoltaics, a German-based solar photovoltaic equipment supplier.
Advanced Energy considered as a favored supplier to centrotherm photovoltaics from 2005, will supply its novel PEII Series Power Supply platform to centrotherm photovoltaics to cope with the worldwide demand for their silicon crystalline solar manufacturing systems.
The PEII Series of low frequency products manufactured by Advanced Energy Industries are designed to deliver repeatable, dependable performance and considered to be among the consistent and quality power supplies available. The system is believed to be the most suitable for PECVD and anti-reflective coating tools utilized in the production of silicon crystalline solar cell production.
In addition to supplying a notable power density of >0.9, it features better arc control, stable regulation and an automated process to sort out the fault conditions. The PEII Series Power Supply platform comes with a warranty from Advanced Energy Industries covering its parts and labor. Advanced Energy has commenced the shipment for this $20M order, which stretches throughout the year 2011.
