Solar Topps, a Tempe, Arizona-based solar integration company, declared that it has secured a new solar panel supply accord with Schuco Solar, a Germany-based solar panel producing company.
Schuco Solar produces its polycrystalline solar panels that feature a zero power loss factor of -0/+5%. In other words, the panels will generate up to 5% more energy than their rated capacity. Solar Topps has chosen the panels because of their zero power loss feature and allow it to design solar arrays with expected power generation capabilities.
The company offered a $4 per watt installation cost to commercial building owners and companies in Tucson. The offer, launched in May, generated a lot of interest and demand for solar power arrays. Customers are also looking forward to complete the solar installations to avail the currently available solar grants, solar rebates, tax incentives and other benefits, which are predicted to close soon. There is also a reduction in the utility rebates from SRP, APS and TEP. Other programs such as U.S. Federal Solar grant and the offer for 100% depreciation value in the first year for solar equipment will end by 31st December 2011.
Solar Topps has planned to install Schuco solar panels for the upcoming commercial solar power installations ranging from 30 to 200 kW for a number of businesses such as print shops, golf courses, health spas, hospitals, business parks, hotels, manufacturing facilities, industrial companies and others.
