WELTEC BIOPOWER has announced the celebration of its 10th anniversary on 15th November 2011 at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany.
The company established in 2001 grew with innovation and delivered its first ever total biogas plant made of stainless steel to Sweden in 2003. It has now grown into a global supplier of biogas plants.
Over 80% of its employees are engineers who have specialized in Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Process engineering and Agronomy. The company constantly reorganized its working intone with the requirements of the market. Currently, the functional units of the company are designed to react to customer demands speedily with an improved level of proficiency. WELTEC has brought in a quality and environmental administration system within the company to ensure maintenance of quality at a higher level.
Some of the highlights of the WELTEC BIOPOWER founded by its parent companies WEDA and Stallkamp in 2001 include delivery of the first biogas plant to Sweden in 2003, formation of its auxiliary companies, WELTEC BIOPOWER ME (Czech Republic) and AMBICO (USA) in 2007. The year 2008 was special for the company as it had established its branches in over 30 countries, received planning permission for the construction of the largest biogas plant in the world with direct access in the network of natural gas and earning of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certification.
As on date, the company has planned, constructed and delivered over 200 biogas plants globally in countries such as Spain, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Japan and the USA.
