SANYO Component Europe (SANYO) has declared that it will participate at the Solar Power UK 2011, solar expo to be held from October 26 -28, 2011 at Birmingham, UK, located International Conference Centre (ICC). The company will be showcasing its HIT N240 and HIT H250 modules at booth no R20 located in the registration area.
The SANYO HIT N240 module is designed to offer a power conversion competence of 19.0% while its HIT H250 modules provide 18% efficiency. Both the modules incorporated thin mono-crystalline silicon wafers enveloped by ultra-thin amorphous layers. The structural design of the modules enables them with superior solar power conversion efficiency, exceptional temperature features and increased level of power generation output on a given location when compared to other crystalline modules. The unique characteristics of the module make them suitable for residential installations that have a limited level of roof space.
The HIT range modules also have been found to be suitable for large-scale solar installations in Europe. The Torre Santa Susanna, Italy, located 7.567 MW solar facility, is considered to be the biggest solar farm in the world incorporating HIT modules and the 1.103 MW solar facility presently being erected over the rooftop of Blackfriars Station in London, when completed will be known as the largest solar bridge globally and the biggest photovoltaic facility in London. The two installations while proving the suitability of the modules for large scale installations also showcase the benefits they can bring in.
In the expo, SANYO will also offer information on its Premium Installer Program, which will provide support to PV installers based in the UK and offer the information and news on its latest technologies and products. It will also offer the installers leads for sales from their region, training and technical support and a tailor-made micro site to support their business.
