Pasteurization Technology Group (PTG), innovator of the only wastewater disinfection process that creates renewable energy, is exhibiting its technology to water-quality and wastewater professionals attending this year's California Water Environment Association (CWEA) annual conference, held in Palm Springs.
Greg Ryan, CEO and co-founder of PTG, invites water-quality and wastewater professionals to drop by and learn how PTG's eco-friendly wastewater disinfection system can lower their operating costs, reduce their environmental impact, and lower their power bill by generating renewable electricity. Mr. Ryan is an expert in the application of highly efficient, cost-effective and sustainable solutions that enable the reuse of water.
Where to meet PTG at CWEA Annual Conference

PTG's system is a highly efficient, cost-effective and sustainable solution that enables the reuse of valuable water. The technology is attracting the attention of businesses and municipalities that want to realize substantial energy cost savings and eliminate toxic chemicals through alternatives to traditional chlorine- and UV-based wastewater disinfection systems. PTG's technology has been certified by the state of California for non-potable reuse under the stringent standards of Title 22.
PTG helps CWEA members transform treated wastewater into a valuable resource
PTG's patented technology is the first and only technology to combine wastewater disinfection with the generation of renewable energy. PTG's integrated systems can use available waste by-products (such as biogas or biomass), or natural gas, to power a turbine or engine that generates electricity. The turbine's hot exhaust air (which is typically wasted) is passed through a waste-heat recovery unit that increases the temperature to disinfect the wastewater. PTG's intelligent software efficiently optimizes energy and water flow throughout the integrated system. PTG's systems are significantly more cost-effective and energy-efficient than other disinfection methods. And, unlike other wastewater disinfection approaches, PTG's technology is sustainable since it does not require toxic chemicals such as chlorine, or costly electrical power and expensive UV lamps. As a result, PTG's systems fit a broad range of applications in both the municipal and industrial market sectors.
