Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, will host a live forum with eight Parker experts to discuss the complex challenges that arise from electrification, and how Parker is assisting companies transition from traditional to hybrid and all-electric mobile machines.
The live forum, “Let’s Talk Electrification”, will take place on 25th April from 13:00 CEST, and it will cover topics including digitalization, thermal management, and some possible future challenges that the electrification transition presents. A discussion, focussing on the L120H wheel loader from Volvo Construction Equipment as a case study, is scheduled to follow. The all-electric L120H offers an example of how Parker’s collaboration with Volvo Construction Equipment provided innovative solutions for vehicle electrification and reduced supply chain complexity and time-to-market.
Among the key speakers, Shawn Horner, Vice President of Technology & Innovation, Motion Systems Group, will talk about the overarching insights of electrification; Erik Forsberg, Systems Engineering Manager, will join the panel discussion on the Volvo Construction Equipment L120H wheel loader case study; and Nils Henriksson, Mobile Centre of Excellence Manager will join in the panel discussion focussing on the future challenges in mobile electrification.
The online event will also include two breakout discussions for which participants can choose to attend either session. More details about the breakout session topics and the agenda for the day can be found HERE.
