Renewal by Andersen, the start-to-finish window replacement subsidiary of Andersen Corporation, has expanded its available glass options with a new glass that helps block the sun's heat, while letting in almost as much natural daylight as clear glass.
The optional High-Performance™ Low-E4® SmartSun™ glass is Renewal by Andersen's most energy-efficient glass offering ever, up to 70% more energy efficient in summer and up to 45% more energy efficient in winter as compared to ordinary dual pane glass*. What's more, SmartSun glass also blocks an amazing 95 percent of harmful UV rays, helping to protect furniture, carpets and wall coverings.
