Originally having first gained popularity as an inherently resilient and easy to use product in the earlier part of the 20th century in commercial and government buildings, banks and universities, today, Cork has begun to reestablish itself again as a very practical medium with which to work, recognized for its durability and functionality, not to mention, as an environmentally friendly, green commodity that can be readily and repeatedly harvested from the bark of Cork Oak Trees, thus allowing for the trees' conservation and anticipated cultivation. In addition, Cork affords end users outstanding long term value and exceptional design flexibility.

Outwater's facing quality Rolled Cork is not only naturally fire and flame spread retardant, as well as durable and easy to maintain, Cork's core component, Suberin, is a natural insect repellant, making it an extremely viable alternative to a variety of other facing media.

Outwater's Rolled Cork is sold either by the foot, or in complete Rolls, in both 197 foot long x 48-inch usable width x 3mm (1/8-inch) thick and 98 foot long x 48-inch usable width x 6mm (1/4-inch) thick formats.
