K.C.S. offers geothermal heat pumps manufactured by Florida Heat Pump for commercial and residential applications. The EM Series water source heat pump supplied by the company is available in vertical and horizontal models. It is designed for well water systems, cooling tower/boiler systems and other extended range of options for geothermal applications. This heat pump has cooling up to 23.1 EER and heating up to 5.5 COP.
The EM Series water source heat pump can save heating costs from 50% to 70% and the cooling costs up to 40%. It also provides low cost hot water in summer using the heat recovery option. The EM Series heat pump is certified for ground water heat pump, ground loop heat pump, and water loop heat pump applications. It operates with an entering fluid temperature from 10 to 38 degrees Celsius in cooling mode and from 10 to 27 degrees Celsius in heating mode. The cabinet of this geothermal heat pump is made of heavy-gauge galvanized steel. Its interior is insulated with the coated glass fiber, which has a thickness of 12.7mm.
The sealed refrigerant circuits included with the EM Series water source heat pump consists of hermetic compressors, refrigerant reversing valves, thermal expansion valve metering devices, finned tube air-to-refrigerant heat exchangers, and service ports. The compressors are spring isolated and fixed on rubber vibration isolators for sound attenuation. The compressor motor has an overload protection. The EM072 vertical single blower heat pump measures a height of 62 inches, width of 42 inches and a depth of 32 inches, and has a flowing rate of 2400cfm.
