Day4Energy manufactures a diverse range of photovoltaic modules. The Day4 36MC photovoltaic module is designed using 36 multicrystalline solar cells. These solar cells are not connected using tabbing or soldering process and incorporate Day4 Electrode cell interconnection technology.
The Day4 36MC photovoltaic module can be used for both on grid and off grid applications. This solar module has a rugged design and provides efficient operation in low light conditions. Multicrystalline solar cells used for designing the Day4 36MC photovoltaic module have an overall size of 156 millimeters. The back sheet of the module is made using a water resistant compound. This photovoltaic module from Day4Energy is available with a junction box that comprises locking cable couplers, output cables and Tyco Solarlok interconnections.
The anodized aluminum frame of the Day4 36MC photovoltaic module has water drainage holes to minimize breakage of frames at freezing temperatures. The beveled surface on top of the frame prevents water and dirt from getting trapped in the module. This photovoltaic module from Day4Energy produces a maximum power of 115 watts at a maximum voltage and current of 16.80 volts and 6.89 amperes, respectively. The Day4 36MC photovoltaic module has a maximum power tolerance of +/-3.5 percent and operates in temperature conditions of 46 degree centigrade. The open circuit voltage and short circuit current specifications of the photovoltaic module, when the module produces power of 115 watts, are 20.98 volts and 7.60 amperes, respectively.
