The SunGrabber Solar hot water systems supplied by Solar One Solutions are equipped with SunGrabber solar panel, circulation module, hot water storage tank, controller, solar collectors and wall-mounted drainback tank.
The SunGrabber solar panel mounted on the roof is heated up by the sun. The controller helps the system to heat water through solar energy. During its operation, the water heating system uses the panel to channel the water and grasp maximum amount of heat from the sun. From the solar panel, the circulation module moves the heated water to the hot water storage tank. The solar heated water available in the hot water storage tank can be used for all hot water needs including bathing, laundry and dish wash.
The SunGrabber solar panel is also designed to work with natural gas water heaters and electric water heaters. Yet, each type of installation has different requirements to fulfil. When solar hot water heaters are not in operation, water in the solar collectors can be stored in a wall-mounted drainback tank. In this way, users can prevent the water from freezing. The storage capacity of solar water heaters, supplied by Solar One Solutions, ranges from 80 to 120 gallons.
