Galaxy-Tracker T9 Single Axis Tracking Systems from Galaxy Energy

Galaxy Energy manufactures single axis and double axis solar trackers. Single axis trackers are microprocessors that follow the path of the sun routinely. One axis trackers are designed to hold thermo or photovoltaic modules. They are available in the following models: Tracker T3 and Tracker T9. The Galaxy-Tracker T9 single axis tracking system is constructed for roof top or ground installations.

Galaxy-Tracker T9 Single Axis Tracking Systems

The Tracker T9 single axis tracker system operates using self-contained microprocessor guidance. It calculates the sun’s direction and positions itself to remain facing the sun. The module surface is aligned to face the sun through a calendar data positioning program. When a module surface faces the sun, it produces maximum power all through the day and year. A single guidance system or microprocessor has capacity to operate up to 12 trackers. Each tracker unit incorporates a linear drive motor for efficient operation.

The Tracker T9 single axis tracker system includes a frame made of fabricated steel and is hot dipped galvanized. This frame has a 25 degree swing axis tilted to South-North direction. This solar tracker can move up to 90 degrees in East-West direction. The capacity of the linear drive is 24-36V. The adjustable module mounting frame of the single axis tracker system is designed to suit different sizes of module. The total module surface of the tracker used with thermo and photovoltaic modules is 13.5sqm. The Tracker T9 solar tracker weighs 95kg without modules. It can stand firm against the wind speed of up to 120km/h.
