Integrated Solar provides the Coppersun solar collector model CS-340B. The unique system does not contain any moving parts or parts that can wear out and function without a motor or pump. The solar collector model currently available in sizes of 30, 40, or 50 gallon is made of low-iron tempered safety solar glass. The aluminum housing used in CS-340B model is powder-coated and available in different colors to match the color of roof tiles or shingles.
The solar collector uses the incoming water pressure and continuously provides hot water even when there is no power. The 4-inch diameter absorber tube used in the CS-340B solar collector prevents the water from over heating or freezing. The connections in the collector are tig welded to provide firmer and long-lasting connections.
The CS-340B 40 gallon solar collector provided by Integrated Solar weighs approximately 122.65 kg and has 22 sq.ft. aperture area. The sectioned roof flashing pan used in the model measures 110 inches in length and 60 inches in width and is made using 24 gauge galvanized metal sheet. The assembled flashing pan weighs 48.5 lbs and the upright height of the pan is measured as 3.5 inches. The collector is provided with 1 inch thick polysocyanurate insulation that meets the requirements of ICBO Research report.
The collector is built using a patented housing design that allows the installation of collector below the roof tile. The Coppersun solar collector model CS-340B offered by Integrated Solar is classified under the system standard OG-300 and certified by Solar Rating Certification Corporation.
