Enecon provides development and planning services for bioenergy projects. Bioenergy projects involve millions of dollars in designing and building biomass plants. The biomass plants need data regarding cost of biomass materials, storage, and techniques involved in generating energy. So, the work will require proper planning and development. Enecon has the capacity to assist these activities.
Enecon examines the important concepts of a project to determine if further work can be carried on. The primary analysis of the project include investigation related to phases of project implementation, size of the biomass plant, range of raw materials, and energy options. Both financial and risk analysis are carried out to assess the expenditure involved.
According to Enecon, renewable energy can be derived from biomass, wind, solar and hydro electricity. The term biomass refers to different processes, namely, anaerobic digestion of domestic waste and food waste to generate methane, anaerobic decomposition of landfills, combustion of bagasse to generate electricity and heat, combustion of wood or agricultural waste to generate electricity and heat. Enecon has undertaken bioenergy projects for Department of Climate Change, Central Queensland University, Glaxo Smith Kline, Renewable Oil Corporation, Woodside, BHP Billiton, Pacific Hydro, Visy Industries, Thiess, AVONGRO Wheatbelt Tree Cropping, Western Australia Plantation Resources, and Kangaroo Island Development Board.
