J. P. Sayler & Associates, Consultants provides the VestasV-90 3.0 MW model wind turbine, an upwind model with an active yaw and a three-blade rotor. The turbine generates a power of 3.0 MW and features a rotor diameter of 90 m. The built-in OptiTip technology and variable speed idea used in this wind turbine model allows continuous maintenance of rated power production even during high velocity wind speeds. The gearbox incorporates a two-stage planetary and a single stage helical gear. the gear housing is fixed to the bedplate. The VestasV-90 3.0 MW uses a turbine brake system to stop the rotor.
The VestasV-90 3.0 MW model provided by J. P. Sayler & Associates, Consultants has blades made of fiberglass reinforced epoxy and carbon fibre material measuring 44 mm in length. The blades are connected utilizing steel root inserts. This wind turbine model has a built-in lightening detector, a wind sensor, and a smoke detector to ensure safe and efficient working. This model incorporates a 60 Hz frequency generator with a 3.0 W rated power and av1000 VAC. To ensure smooth working of the turbine this model is equipped with individual cooling systems for gear, generator, transformer, and nacelle.
The VestasV-90 3.0 MW is provided with an advanced grid option to manage short time voltage falls due to grid failure and a modular extended UPS system to manage power changes. This wind turbine model is type approved and meets IEC WT01, DS472, NVN 11400-0, and SITAC requirements.
