Scotland Approves Hydro Energy Scheme Proposed by RWE

Ministers in Scotland’s Government have approved a new hydro energy scheme with a potential of powering 2500 homes. RWE npower renewables had submitted a planning application for a 4.5 MW hydro project located on Maldie Burn near Sutherland’s Kylestrome in the year 2009.
