Viessmann offers the Viessmann Vitosol 300-F flat plate collector. This solar collector is ideal for domestic hot water heating purposes. The solar collector pasted over an anti-reflex glass incorporates a copper absorber with a selective coating for increased energy absorption.
The meander shaped absorber allows even collection of solar power from all over the collector for increased power efficiency. This solar collector is encased in an aluminum frame and the window pane is securely sealed with a seamless all weather resisting and UV resistant pan sealing.
The back panel of this module is made of anti corrosive and puncture proof zinc-plated steel sheet. The frame design of the Vitosol 300-F flat-plate collector from Viessmann allows easy integration of the panel with the roof by making use of the edge rims. The frames are load tested and utilize corrosion-free components made from aluminum and stainless steel. The frames are available in special colors to match the roof color. The essential flow and return pipes of the module are arranged in such a way to enable easy free standing installation. The installation allows easy parallel linking of up to 12 collectors in vertical or horizontal orientation. The collectors are connected to connectors through a flexible ridged stainless steel pipe.
The absorber surface of the module measures 2.3 m². The length x width x height measurements of the Viessmann Vitosol 300-F flat-plate collector is 2380 mm x 1056 mm x 90 mm and weighs 52 kg. This solar collector module meets the necessary certification requirements.
