Schüco USA offers Schüco ProSol PV Modules. Dissimilar to the conventional modules, ProSol PV Modules are custom made to match the architectural requirements in terms of color, shape and visual structure and the required solar power generating functions.
These modules can efficiently accomplish most of the attributes such as protection from weather vagaries and direct sun, sound diminution, fire defense, burglar resistance and electromagnetic protective cover. The Schüco ProSol PV modules offered by s Schüco USA are available in choices of cell types such as monocrystalline, polycrystalline and amorphous with optional colors.
Cells used in these modules are available in sizes ranging from 500 mm x 500 mm to 2000 mm x 3000 mm and in curved sizes. For the purpose covering the back side of these PV Modules transparent, translucent or a choice of colored, structural glasses are used. The cell efficiency of these modules depends on the cell type used. The polycrystalline cells offer efficiency in the range of 13 to 15%, the monocrystalline cells in the range of 15–21% and the amorphous cells in the range of 6–9%.
For connecting these modules a socket or edge connector type of connectivity is used. The Schüco ProSol PV modules offer a maximum system voltage of 600 V and meet the protection class II certification requirements. These PV modules are used in places such as façade, sky light constriction, solar shading, canopy and balcony.
