Drexel University Buys RECs to Match 100% of its Energy Usage

The Greenhouse gas equivalencies calculator of Environmental Protection Agency indicates that the environmental benefits accrued from the REC purchase includes reduction of roughly 60,518 metric tons of CO2 emissions every year which is comparable to carbon intake of trees planted over 12,904 acres or stopping the usage of around 11,571 passenger cars from the road.

Reportlinker Predicts 430.6 GW Wind Power Production in 2015

The Reportlinker report titled ‘Benchmarking of Wind with Solar Energy’ predicts that global power production through wind energy will reach a stupendous 430.6 GW in the year 2015 while the solar PV will follow it with 125.9 GW and solar thermal with 20 GW power generation capabilities respectively.

PsomasFMG’s to Implement Solar Power Solution for Antelope Valley Union High School District

The solar project includes participation by ten school campuses in the AVUHSD. As a part of the project PsomasFMG will construct steel-frame coverings to hold the solar panels and to offer shade for the parking lot to keep around 4,000 vehicles of the students and faculties.
