Vattenfall Partners Stadtwerke München to Build Offshore Wind Turbine Farm

Vattenfall is planning to hold a major stake of 51% in the envisaged Dantysk offshore wind turbine project while SWM will hold the rest. This wind turbine project is planned 70 KM west of the Sylt island and expected to have 80 wind turbines in an area of 70 square kilo meters and the wind turbine will be installed in 30 meter water depths.

Urs Hoelzle who works as Senior Vice President of operations in Google and announced the signing of an agreement with NextEra in his blog said that the energy purchased from NextEra is adequate to power a number of data centers.
